Beam: Our Flagship Pilsner

Designing a flagship beer that’s consistently available to a wide audience is always a balancing act. Pilsner is already an incredibly nuanced style—simple on paper, deeply technical in execution.

We are constantly tweaking and refining all of our beers, but a house Pilsner challenges us in a unique way. The goal is an approachable flavor profile that remains historically accurate while staying refreshing and familiar. True to style, but built to drink year-round and fit any occasion—a true go-to beer.

Over the past year, we’ve methodically adjusted variables to find that rare, precise balance—from dialing in our lager yeast expression, to refining a preferred German grain profile, carbonation techniques and selecting hops sourced from German farms we’ve visited in person.

We’re pleased to say Beam has reached a place that fully satisfies—not just the beer enthusiast, but anyone looking for a better, more consistent Pilsner experience.
