Production Assistant
Position Summary
The Production Assistant supports the brewing team in daily production operations and helps maintain an efficient, organized workflow within the brewery. This is an entry-level, hands-on role providing exposure to packaging, cellar work, and general production tasks while working alongside experienced brewers to uphold quality, safety, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with packaging operations, including canning, kegging, and staging materials

Support brew days through ingredient preparation and equipment setup

Perform tank transfers and cellar tasks under supervision

Wash, inspect, and prepare kegs for production use

Move, organize, and stage raw materials and finished goods

Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas

Assist with inventory management and general brewery operations as needed
Requirements

Reliable with a strong work ethic

Interest in learning brewery operations and production processes

Ability to perform physical work and remain on feet for extended periods

Team-oriented mindset with good attention to detail
Position Details
Employment Type: Full-time, year-round
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
PTO & Benefits
- Connecticut Sick Leave
Paid sick leave accrues at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours per year. Accrual begins upon hire; use of sick time begins after a 90-day introductory period. Unused hours roll into the following year in accordance with state guidelines.
