We are excited to partner with the Ridgefield Pollinator Pathway & the Hickories Farm to create a pollinator-friendly native meadow space on the site of what once was an overgrown field thick with invasives. Both partners will be generously providing seedling plugs & locally-sourced native seed mix. The meadow is located adjacent to our new Biergarten space, providing a beautiful scenic backdrop while supporting our local pollinator species.
The Ridgefield Pollinator Pathway is a collaboration of the Town of Ridgefield, Caudatowa Garden Club, Norwalk River Watershed Association, RACE, Ridgefield Conservation Commission, Ridgefield Garden Club, Ridgefield Public Library, and Woodcock Nature Center.
