OPERATIONS MANAGER

The kernel of what would become 

Nod Hill Brewery formulated when Dave was at college in Boston, studying music and home brewing in his apartment. After school, he lived in the UK, working at a pub and learning about cask ale. In the time since, Dave has gone on to write music for TV commercials, play in several bluegrass bands, and run a recording studio – all the while working towards his goal of opening a brewery that made the kind of delicious, flavorful ales that got him interested in beer in the first place.

Formerly of The North Brewery in Endicott, NY, Kyle is passionate about brewing highly flavorful yet pleasantly drinkable beers. While at The North, Kyle's beers won multiple awards and the brewery grew in both size and critical acclaim. Kyle has an elusive combination of passion, technique, attention to detail, and drive for constant improvement. 

SARAH ZITNAY

TAPROOM MANAGER &

BOOKKEEPER

Sarah is a lot of things to Nod Hill: taproom manager, bookkeeper, Dave's wife, beer name developer, Cicerone-certified server and all around spiritual guide. Early on, her calm steadfastness helped steer the course through the often difficult permitting, build-out, and development process, and her impeccable taste in beer has provided invaluable feedback and guidance as we've grown.

A seasoned executive and entrepeneur, Rob brings many years of experience developing, managing, and growing businesses in the construction, sports marketing, and entertainment industries. With Nod Hill Brewery, Rob couldn't be more excited to pair his business acumen with a product that he has a strong passion for.

BREWHOUSE/CELLAR/TAPROOM

Kat brings a passion for mixed culture fermentation along with winemaking experience from time spent in the Alsace region of France. In addition to working in the brewhouse, you'll often see her behind the bar and repping us at events - she's also responsible for all the cool artwork on our chalkboard.
